I never thought about the development of a business until the day I was in Florida at the Renaissance by Marriott of Fort Lauderdale. At that point, I was sitting at the pool and it came to me, P'35 Investment Company, LLC.

Askew has had the pleasure of providing civic engagement, youth oversight, and professional development to programs sponsored by the United States Department of State, United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration, United States Department of Labor, United States Agency of International Development, United States Department of Justice and other agencies in relationship to mandates of Congress and vision of the United States President and their administration.
Askew has engaged and welcomed person of various national origin to the United States of America's apple pie dream for a "Workforce and Cultural diversity" empowerment experience inclusive of persons from Russia, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Kyzanstin, Pakistan, China, Korea, Turkey, Africa, Ghana, India, Guatemala, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Korea and the Virgin Islands.
P35 has maintained customer relations in all areas of the local/federal government, not-for-profit, and faith based organizations. In 2010, Askew pushed forward with the development of “Lineage Institute.” A Network of Community Investors developed to maximize the usage of his models throughout urban and rural communities.

The year of 2013 brought to the organization three major historical success. With over 100 youth in the guardianship of the District of Columbia Government Youth Rehabilitative Services agency, a collaborative effort between the City of District of Columbia Department of Contracting and Procurement, Department of Local Small Disadvantage Business agency, and the Institute’s Workforce, Labor, and Employment Services receive a contract award in the area of Temporary services, workforce re-development, and physical fitness programming, first year in operation.
In 2014, Askew developed what he calls the "Moving Forward Campaign" for cities and states seeking a new way of branding and marketing the greatness of their neighborhoods, government, and mission.
Later, still an advocate for the youth and young entrepreneur’s on-hand coaching person's with disability and senior campaign for the District of Columbia further supported the Institute training outreach by allowing the Institute to develop and facilitate a computer training module for seniors vie a federal program funded by the US Department of Labor on-site at its satellite training facility in NW DC Chesapeake Street sponsored by the University of Potomac, 1401 H St NW #100, Washington, DC 20005, only minutes from United States of America White House. Askew as a professor for 10+ years.
Our organization is proud of this grass-root effort and the newly expanded version offered by the District of Columbia Government MLK Anacostia Center and the University Of District of Columbia's partners.
In 2012-2013, Askew received an NAACP award for outstanding service and advocacy for Equality.
